1st Claim entries only until 7th April. Race numbers will be posted out to those entrants. Entries received after this date numbers will be available on race night. Entries close at 725 entry limit or on 16th April whichever first. If entries remain registration will be reopened after the first event.

Entries will only be accepted from fully paid up members of YDRRL clubs who are holders of an England Athletics Licence. Please ensure you have your England Athletics Registration number before entering. Entry for the remaining events after the series has started will be accepted after each round at full entry price.

The York and District Road Race League events are organised and marshalled by volunteers who need to finish marshalling, dismantling the course and all the jobs involved in closing the race in sometimes fading light. It would be appreciated if runners complete the course within the 75 minute time limit for race finish. If you are not currently at this standard please speak to your club representative before entering.

You agree that we may publish your Personal Information as part of the results of the Event and may pass such information to the governing body or any affiliated organisation for the purpose of insurance, licences or for publishing results either for the event alone or combined with or compared to other events. Results may include (but not be limited to) name, any club affiliation, race times, occupation and age category.​

Conditions of Entry

By entering the event, you agree to abide by these Conditions of Entry and any race instructions given to you by the organisers and officials. You must be 17 or older on 23rd April 2024 to participate.

Entry Fee: All entry fees are non-refundable.

No Animals: Animals will not be permitted with the exception of guide dogs; arrangements for guide dogs must be made with the organisers ahead of the event.

Medical Condition: It is strongly recommended that you train for the event you are taking part in. All participants are strongly advised to consult their doctor prior to undertaking any exercise programme or running event. It is the responsibility of all participants to ensure they are medically fit to participate in the event.

Spectators: Whilst spectators are welcome and encouraged they must not crowd the course.

Use of Image: By entering the race you give permission for the free use of your name, voice or picture in any broadcast, telecast, advertising, promotion or other account of this event.

Event Cancellation: The event will only be cancelled or postponed due to unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances. In such an eventuality all participants will be notified as soon as possible. The organiser's entire liability in respect of all costs and expenses you may incur as a result of such cancellation or delay will solely be the entry price you have paid to take part in the event.

Collection & Use of Information: As part of the Terms and Conditions of entry, participants must agree that their personal information (including medical information entered on my race number or collected by Event staff during or after the Event) can be stored, used and disclosed by the Organiser in connection with the organisation, promotion and administration of the Event and for the compilation of statistical information.

Race Ejection: The organisers reserve the right to refuse an entrant's attendance or participation. We strive to organise safe and enjoyable events and hope that you will help us in achieving this. Any participant who is found in breach of these terms and conditions will be excluded from future events. Please do not put someone else at risk. Abusive behaviour towards event staff will not be tolerated.

Pacers: No pacing is allowed in the race from anyone not competing in the race or who has competed but has finished. Only series entered runners are allowed on the course during the race.


Participants accept that their participation is entirely at their own risk and acknowledge that the organisers shall not be liable for death, personal injury, loss or damage arising from the participation in or as a consequence of the participation in any event, howsoever caused.

I accept that the organisers of the York & District Road Race League will not be held responsible for any injury, loss or damage occurred before, during or after the race series. I am an amateur as defined by UK Athletics. I will abide by the rules of the YDRRL (available at I declare that I am physically fit and enter at my own risk.
